She is survived by: sons, Mike (Deb) Miller, Blair, NE, Rob (Kathy) Miller, Lincoln, NE, son, Joe Miller, Blair, daughters, Liz (Paul) Johnson, Loveland, CO, Kathleen (Toby) McGlaughlin, New Waverly, TX, daughter, Margie Bansen, Blair, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, Sisters Elizabeth Sully, Sinsinawa, WI, Patricia Nichols, Yigo, Guam and brother-in-law, Jack Laverty, Omaha.

VISITATION AND VIGIL SERVICE: 5-8 pm with Vigil Service at 7 pm, Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Ft. Calhoun.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10 am Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair, NE.

INTERMENT: Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Mary K. Miller was born on May 21, 1939 to Joseph Benedict Sully and Frances Marcellus (Schenk) Sully in Blair. She graduated High School from Blair and went on to study nursing before being married and later received a degree in Auto Body from Metro Community College. Mary married Delmer Miller February 15, 1958 in Blair, and had seven children together.

Mary was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. She worked for OPPD Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant for 25 years in maintenance. She ran her own detasseling crew with members of her family & friends for several years. She enjoyed: working on cars, hunting, gardening, canning, knitting, making clothes, watching birds and wildlife, with a passion for planting and growing peonies. She will be most remembered for her outpouring of love and compassion.

She is preceded in death by: son David Miller, son-in-law, Ted Bansen, brothers, Joseph, William Patrick, Leo, Louis Sully, sister-in-law, Mary Sully, sister Ruth Laverty, brother-in-law, Raymond Nichols and former spouse, Delmer Miller.
