Seth Louis Amundson, 55, of Elkhorn, Neb., passed away on March 29, 2024.

Seth was born on July 2, 1968, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Louise and Merle Amundson. He was raised for a short time in California then moved to Arlington, Neb., where he attended elementary through high school. He graduated Arlington High School before earning his A.A.S. degree in Diesel Technology from Southeast Community College in Milford, Neb. Seth worked as a highly skilled diesel technician for many years then later joined Union Local #571 as a heavy equipment operator.

Seth was proceeded in death by his father, Merle Amundson and step-sister, Kelly Mollohan.

Survivors include his children, son Levi and his daughter Avery, along with their mother, Regale Amundson; his mother, Louise; his dad’s wife, Linda; brothers Mike (Roxanne) and Brian; sister Amy (Terry); nephews Mitch, Colton, Mason, Quinton, Logan and Emerson; nieces Chelsea and Shelby; along with six great-nephews and one great-niece, aunt, cousins/family, Roger and Wanda Gibson/family and Denny and Diane Jackson/family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the family for the children's education and for future designations.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 12, from 4-5 p.m. Celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Both events will be at Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha / Elkhorn, 21901 W. Maple Rd.
