#1 Pilot Tribune April 24, 1952 Blair, Nebraska Mr. Hineline Dies, Age 73

Solomon (Solly) Hineline, 73, native and lifetime resident of the DeSoto vicinity, died at his home Sunday noon following a heart attack. The body was removed to the Campbell Mortuary. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, at the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Hineline was born at DeSoto February 23, 1879. He was a farmer all his life.

Surviving Mr. Hineline his wife, Alpha, one son, Ralph (Buck) Hineline of DeSoto; and his daughters, Mrs. Bellva Binnll of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Sylvia Hoskins of Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Bernice Bretzer of San Antonia, Texas, Mrs. Hans Jorgensen, Mae of Blair, Mrs. Beatrice Kubie of Herman, and Mrs. Marjorie Johnson of Omaha. There are 12 surviving grandchildren. There are four step-children, Bernice Gorly, C. O. Harst, Edna Gustin, Agril Hearst.

Solomon Hineline, 73 year old farmer of the DeSoto vicinity passes away suddenly Sunday. His death was attributed to a heart attack.

The deceased was born, lived and died on the same farm having spent all of his 73 years there. He was the son of the late Solomon and Sylvia Hineline who homesteaded the place and lived in a log cabin for many years.

On June 10, 1906 he was married to Miss Emma Wallace and to this union nine children were born. Two sons have preceded their father in death. Mrs. Hineline passed away in 1927.

In 1943 he was married to Mrs. Alpha Hurst who survives his death.

The deceased sons are William and Ed. Other children who are living are Mrs. Hans Jorgensen (Mae) of Blair; Ralph Hineline of DeSoto; Mrs. Ed Johnson (Marjorie) of Omaha, Mrs. Vern Binnall (Elva) of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Mark Hoskins (Sylvia) of Tacoma, Washington; Mrs. Herman Bretzer (Bernice) of San Antonio, Texas; and Mrs. Kenneth Kubie (Burnice) of Herman.

There are twelve grandchildren and four step-children.

Mr. Hineline was a member of the Latter Day Saints church.
