| Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 22, at First Lutheran Church for Oscar Jensen, 90, a lifetime resident of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital, February 19, 1990, after a brief illness. Rev. J. David Nelson is officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Oscar P. Jensen was born May 22, 1899, at Blair, to Soren and Helmine Christensen Jensen. He owned and operated the Oscar Jensen Garage until he sold the business in 1964, at which time he opened a small engine repair business.
He married Mattie Stricklett and she preceded him in death in 1952. He married Ethel McMurtrie Campbell in 1953. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Bill Jensen, Ricky Jensen, Johnnie Jensen, Elmer Jensen and Rold (Holly) Jensen; and three sisters, Annie Jensen, Amy Sorensen and Adina Raabe.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; five step-children, Jerry Campbell, Olathe, Kansas; Howard Campbell, Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Leroy Campbell, Blair; Bert Campbell, Rogers, Arkansas; and Delores McIntosh of Blair; and one sister, Anna Olsen, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
