JAMES KING DIED THURS. IN BLAIR

James A. King, of 1415 Park Street, passed away at his home Thursday morning, May 21.

Mr. King was 81 years old at the time of his death.

Funeral arrangements were not complete as this paper went to press.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

James King Died Thursday, Services Monday

Funeral services were held today, Monday, for James Adam King, 1415 Park Street, who died Thursday. The services were held at the Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Blakkolb officiating with interment at the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. King who was 81 years of age was born May 19, 1883, in Blair.

Mr. King is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Woody Miner (Idell) of Sioux City, Iowa; Mrs. Roy Betts (Lucille) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Mrs. Marvin Holdaas (Alene) of Seattle, Washington; sons: Leonard of Phoenix, Arizona; David King of Rockford, Illinois, and Rex King of Kimball; sisters, Mrs. Sadie Stubbs of Rockford, Illinois; Mrs. Mary Reynolds of Grand Island, and Mrs. Martha Baster of Kilgore, Nebraska; twenty grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and Mrs. Erma McDonald, who was raised by Mr. King, and his deceased wife.

Pallbearers were Milford Campbell, Roy Kirk, Jim Metzler, Calvin Metzler, Henry Smith and Elmer Betts. Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
