Died on 10/28/1925
Buried in Blair Cemetery

The body of A. B. McManigal was brought here from Sioux City last Friday, accompanied by his son, Arthur, while the rest of the family came by auto.

A brief funeral service was held at the Wescott Funeral Home at Sioux City at 11 o'clock and another service here at the M. E. Church in this city at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. O. U. McProud officiating. The floral offerings were unusually large and beautiful, showing something of the love and esteem in which he was held. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery by the side of his wife, whose death occurred at Walthill, Neb., January 27th, 1913.

Albert Byron McManigal was born in Scioto County, Ohio, May 7th, 1856, so he was 67 years of age last May. He came to Blair with his parents in 1873, and on July 16th, 1882, he was united in marriage to Miss Harriet Celestine Stricklett. Thirteen children were born to them, ten of whom survive him, Arthur, Blanche, Mrs. L. H. Watson, and Ruth, Mrs. Lon Watson, of Walthill, Neb., Randall, Fern, Byron, and Marie, Mrs. Everett Davis of Sioux City, Stanley, of Blair, Vernon of Omaha, and Fannie, Mrs. Harry Hanson of Hamil, S. D., all of whom were here for the funeral service.

He leaves also six brothers, and three sisters, Jim, Dan, and Joe, Mrs. Noah Taylor Mrs. Ernest Bowerman, and Mrs. Adaline Cooper, all of Hamil, S. D., Charles of Glenwood, Ia., Jesse of Rosalie, and Frank of this city, all but the first four named were here for the funeral service. There are 24 grandchildren living.

The family formerly lived on the place, now the place now occupied by the Blair Florist, and moved to Walthill, Neb., March 1907; in 1916 to Sioux City, where he died Wednesday.

Mr. McManigal was a member of the K. P. lodge here for a number of years and has many friends here who sympathize greatly with the bereaved family and relatives.
