Blair Man, 54, Who Died Friday, Was One of Family of 12 Children

Funeral services for Fred “Fritz” Ladwig, 54, were held at the Campbell Mortuary at 2pm Monday afternoon. Interment was in Blair cemetery.

Mr. Ladwig died at his home on Friday, February 9.

His death was the first in a family of 12 children. Mr. Ladwig leaves eight brothers and three sisters; an aunt, Mrs. Anna Hagge of Blair; and 32 nieces and nephews. The brothers are Herman and John of Blair; William of Nealy, Nebraska; Ernest of Denison, Iowa; Henry of Holdredge, Nebraska; Frank of Grand Island, Nebraska; Pete of Columbus, Nebraska and Albert of Laramie, Wyoming. The three sisters who mourn his passing are Mrs. Matilda Allen of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Emma Gaffney of Omaha, and Miss Marie Ladwig of Avrado, California.
