OBITUARY OF BERT MCMANIGAL

Bert McManigal was born at Blair, Washington County, Nebr., on July 10, 1872, and died at Columbus, Nebraska, on January 12, 1940, at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 2 days.

He grew to manhood in Blair and was united in marriage to Maude Osborn on October 26, 1892. To this union were born six children. Mr. and Mrs. McManigal moved to Nance County in the year 1900 and resided here since that time with the exception of six years spent in South Dakota.

He was a kind and loving husband and father, a thoughtful friend and neighbor.

Surviving are his wife, six children, Glen of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Dulcie Giersdorf of Lamberton, Minn., Floyd of Orchard, Nebraska, William of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mrs. Lucille Elder of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Roberta McManigal, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Twenty three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and other relatives and a great host of friends also survive him.
