Franklin Boyd Gabby, age 89 of Blair, Nebraska, passed away March 4, 2025. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Blair at 1 p.m.

Frank was born in Ackley, Iowa, on September 7, 1935. He graduated from Teacher's High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa, in 1953. He attended Dana College in Blair, Nebraska, where he met his wife, Nancy Bellows, of 70 years.

Frank was a contractor and an owner of a home improvement business in Blair, Nebraska, retiring at the age of 81. He was first and foremost a family man — a loving husband, father and grandfather. As a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church, he was always ready to serve and support those around him. His friendships with his coffee and card groups were as steady as his devotion to the Nebraska Cornhuskers and all sporting events. His favorite travel destinations were Hawaii and Lake of the Woods, Canada.

Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters: Pam (Steve) Klotz of Valley, Nebraska; Kristi (Mark) Lippincott of Valley, Nebraska; and Cindy (Ken) Lampos of Richland, Michigan; grandchildren: Jessica (Paul) Weaklend, Brooke (Todd) Coppock, Matthew (Hillary) Lippincott, Nick (Dylan Kathol) Klotz, Katie (Brian) Hansen and Dylan, Luke and Michael Lampos. He is also survived by his great grandchildren: Haley Steiner, Jacob Weaklend, Logan and Gabby Coppock, Ally, Lenna and Brooks Hansen, Charlie and Henry Lippincott; and his brother, Bruce Gabby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Clara Gabby, and sister, Marilyn Capitani.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Blair or Memorial Community Hospital of Blair.
