Margaret “Dianne” Lorenzen, 83, born on January 4, 1942, in Dixon, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at Arbor Care Center in Tekamah, Nebraska, on April 28, 2025. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dianne lived a rich and fulfilling life. She attended and graduated from Dixon Public Schools. She shared many beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, Richard Lorenzen, whom she wed on August 22, 1958. Margaret was a dedicated homemaker and found joy in nurturing her family. After her children started school, she worked for Wilkinson's for eight years, and later at Super Bee Orchard in Fort Calhoun during the Spring and Summer. She spent three winters in Florida before finding her calling at Pioneer Foods in Fort Calhoun, where she loved interacting with people. Upon retirement, Dianne devoted her time to caring for Richard. Dianne’s hobbies included making ceramics, camping, fishing, and vacationing with family and friends. Above all, what mattered most to Dianne was her family and friends.

Dianne is survived by her loving daughter Belinda Boyle; son Gregg Lorenzen and wife Penny; five grandchildren: Angela Burbeck, Adam Boyle, Nikki Lorenzen, Eric (Kylie) Lorenzen, Bryan (Lindsey) Lorenzen, 13 great-grandchildren; brother Donnie (LuAnn) Kraemer, sister-in-law Shirley Kraemer and brother-in-law Merle Roeber.

She is preceded in death by her father Albert Kraemer, mother Irma Kraemer, her beloved husband Richard Lorenzen, son-in-law Ray Boyle, one brother and two sisters.

In honor of Dianne's life, charitable contributions may be directed to the family for later designation.
