| Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 1, at St. John the Baptist Church in Fort Calhoun for Ellen M. Gable, 82, of rural Omaha who died July 28, 1990 at Good Shepherd Home of Blair. A rosary was said July 31, 1990. Rev James Schwertly officated. Burial was at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Ellen M. Gable was born to Michael and Emma Gephard Ward March 3 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. She was a sales clerk for a department store. She was a member of St. John the Baptist catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. She is survived by a son and his wife, Joseph and Jean Gable of rural Omaha; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Sievers-Spick Funeral Home was in Charge of arrangements. |
