Lucy White Dies at Masonic Home; Rites at Blair

Lucy A. White, 88, a resident of the Nebraska State Masonic Home here since 1963, died there August 8.

The funeral was on Saturday with graveside rites at Blair Cemetery.

Local arrangements were made by Caldwell Funeral Home.

Mrs. White was born June 3, 1880 at Almena, Kansas, daughter of Wallace and Ellen (Bartles) Updike.

She was married on October 16, 1926 to John F. White. He preceded her in death in 1937 at Blair.

She entered the Masonic Home through Washington Lodge No. 21 AF and AM, Blair.

Survivors are nephews Melvin and Kenneth Updike of Fremont, and niece Mrs. Blanche Knop, Malvern, Iowa.
