Richards, Brian D., age 66 of Fort Calhoun, NE.
Born: October 30, 1958, Omaha, NE.
Died: June 20, 2025, Bellevue, NE.
Preceded in death by his parents, David and Bonnie Richards, infant brother, Brandon Richards.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kelly Richards, Fort Calhoun, NE, sister, Karen Richards, Blair, NE, 4 nieces, 3 nephews and other family and friends.
From his youth, Brian loved nature, particularly his time on his grandparents' farm and interacting with the animals. This passion for the outdoors stayed with him his whole life.
Brian's career in beverage and food distribution demonstrated his strong work ethic while holding positions in warehousing, sales, and transport. He aimed for excellence in everything he did, from building volumes on sales routes to ensuring proper rotation, quality and counts in the warehouse or maintaining a clean driving record for the entirety of his career.
Brian loved a practical joke and might have pulled his favorite on his October 1997 wedding day to Kelly Seaman (iykyk).
His 2002 move from Omaha to rural Fort Calhoun with Kelly gave him more chances to enjoy nature, especially deer and birds. Though he joked about work being his hobby, his home was his true happy place, where he would often be found outside, tending to the yard, working in the timber, or watching the wildlife.
