J. G. Jesse McManigal, 75, Walthill farmer and ex Blairite, died June 1 at his home following a brief illness. He had been in poor health for only a few weeks. Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church in Walthill; the Rev. E. R. Slick officiated. Interment followed in the Blair Cemetery.

Surviving Mr. McManigal are his wife; two sons, Darrell A. of Winnebago and Hugh at home; two daughters, Mrs. Nina Novacek of Walthill and Mrs. Helen Nelson of Omaha; a brother, James McManigal of Creighton and a sister, Mrs. Noah Taylor of Winner, SD. A daughter, Gladys died a number of years ago.
