Robert H. Hansen, age 81 of Blair, passed away July 19, 2025 at his home in Blair.
Military graveside services will be held Saturday July 26, 2025 at 1:00PM at the Blair Cemetery.
Robert was born February 17, 1944 in Fremont, Nebraska the son of Harlan and Elsie (Appleby) Hansen. Robert was raised in Eastern Nebraska.
On January 6, 1964 he joined the United State Air Force and served until his honorable discharge on January 5, 1968.
On July 3, 1970 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Mayfield-Scarlett in Blair. The couple made their home in the Herman and Blair communities. During Robert's working career he owned and operated his own trucking business, BobKat Trucking.
He truly missed the trucking business after his retirement.
He is survived by his children; Greg (Patti) Mayfield, Kim (Carl) Thompson and Penny Scarlett Jamison, brother Randy (Chris) Blomgren, sister Connie Nelson, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathleen and his brother Gary Hansen.
