Kay Beth Frahm, age 86 of Blair, passed away July 29, 2025, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. A private internment will be scheduled later for both Kay Beth and Don Frahm.
Kay Beth Frahm was born January 9, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clyde and Vera (Lamb) Sappenfield. She was a graduate of Blair High School and then worked at Robert's Dairy in Omaha as a comptometrist.
Kay Beth married Donald Frahm in 1958 and they were the owner/operators of the Blair Laundry and then Advance Cleaners for many years. Kay Beth was an avid bowler until the Blair Bowling Alley burned down. She also loved square dancing, which they did frequently in the garage of their Grant Street home and, later, dancing to ’80s classic rock. Kay Beth and her family and friends also spent many glorious summers boating on the Missouri River.
Kay is survived by her sons; Mark, Kevin and wife Carol, Brent and wife Val; four granddaughters and 2 great-granddaughters; Claire (Neal) Sunderman and daughter Zoey, Katie Frahm and daughter Chloe, Natalie (Mason) Gustafson, Grace Frahm and sister-in-law Madonna Sappenfield.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to local charities.
