Delores Dungan Porter Peters, age 94, of Blair passed away July 29, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1-3 PM at Cherry Hill Coffee Shop and Ice Cream in Fort Calhoun, NE. A private graveside service will be held.
Delores was born March 15, 1931, to Miles and Ella Dungan in California Junction, Iowa. Delores worked as a nurse aide for many years prior to retirement.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society of America in Delores' name. Cards may be directed to Becky Buckner, 205 N 10th St., Fort Calhoun, NE 68023.

March 15, 1931 - July 29, 2025
Delores was born March 15, 1931 to Miles and Ella Dungan in California Junction, Iowa. She married Junior A. Porter on June 5th, 1948. While married to Junior, she had 3 children, and worked as a nurse's aid for many years.
She married Ed Peters June 1992 and they square danced together. She did square dance for 30 years, and was very proud that she made her own square-dancing clothes.
She was preceded in death by Junior Porter (husband), Mitchell Porter (son), her parents, Ed Peters and all her siblings.
She leaves her children Ernie (Marian) Porter and Becky (Eric) Buckner; stepchildren Ray (Ruth) Peters, Deb (Ben) Clark, and Carol Peters (Darren Meyer), grandchildren Kellie, Megan, Alyson, Chloe, Stevie, Skylar, Jacob, Shannon, Ellen, Richie and Jon, as well as great-grandchildren and many generations of nieces and nephews.
