A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun.

Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Josepha A. Gable was born June 29, 1932, in Newark, N.J

. On May 25, 1953, He married Jean Marie Mallinger in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She surives him, as do his daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Frank Manetti of Omaha, Karen and Marty Connolly of Fort Calhoun, Linda and Tim Winters of Omaha, Nancy and Dave Hartranft of Bellevue, Jennifer and Jay Steadman, and Kari Gable, all of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
