Robert "Bob" Potter Jr., age 67 of Kennard, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Military graveside services will follow in the Kennard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Robert M. Potter was born May 28, 1958, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Robert and Sharon Potter. Bob lived in El Paso, Texas, for a while before moving back to Omaha where he married Connie L. Tarascio on April 16, 1988. To this union a son was born, Christopher Mathew Potter.

He was in the Navy for four years and also served on the Kennard Volunteer Fire Department for 34 years, with 18 of those years serving as an EMT and squad captain. Over the years he worked many jobs, most recently at Buhler.

Bob enjoyed woodworking, fishing, kayaking and hunting with his son Christopher. He also enjoyed fishing with his nephew. Halloween was his favorite holiday, enjoying going to all the Halloween stores with his niece. He truly loved haunted houses and hanging out with his skeleton friend Barnebe.

He is survived by his wife Connie, son Christopher "Paco", his mother Sharon Potter, brother Scott Potter, sister Roxann Lemus, uncle Duane Dockweiler, sister-in-law Mary (Monte) Wright, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr., sister Robin, and nephew Greg.
