Billy Springer February 11, 1942 — September 6, 2025

Bill was born on February 11, 1942, to Willard and Nada (Beavers) Springer. He grew up in Superior, Nebraska, attending Superior Schools. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Janet Jo (Zeigler). They had two sons, Timothy Joe and Thomas Lee. In 1966 the family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where Bill began his career in sales.

Job opportunities took them to Wisner, Nebraska in 1975 and Blair, Nebraska in 1985. He was Blessed with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Bill was an avid Husker football fan, he liked to fish, read and camp with family and camping club. He took the most pleasure in spending time with family. His special memories were of attending their sporting events, fishing trips, family dream vacations to Virginia, Orlando, Minnesota, the Black Hills and Branson. The high light of his life was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was Baptized declaring his faith on October 25, 2015. He attended Men's Bible Study, "D" Group and City Light Bennington Church.

After retirement, he and his wife Jan traveled in their camper enjoying many fun adventures together.

Billy Lee Springer, age 83 of Blair, Nebraska, transitioned to Heaven on September 06, 2025.

Left to cherish his life are his wife Jan, sons Tim (Danette) and Tom, grandchildren; Quinn (Beth), Keaton (Stephanie), Megan (Brady), Justin (April), great grandchildren: Dylan, Jordan T, Andrew, Jordan M, Dominic and Adam. His brother Ron, nieces and nephews along with many special friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father Willard, mother Nada, brothers Vic and Gordon.

A memorial service will take place Monday September 15th, 2025 10:30am at First Baptist Church 205 S 18th St, Blair, NE 68008

Chapel of Memories, 4712 South 82nd Street, Omaha, NE 68127 in service to the family.
