A memorial service for Leonard Jackson will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel. We warmly invite family and friends to join us in honoring Leonard’s life. Burial at Memorial Cemetery and reception at Moser will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the local V.F.W.

June 15, 1929 - May 24, 2025

Leonard Jackson, 95 years, of Fremont NE, passed away on May 24, 2025 at Pathfinder Senior Living.

He is survived by his daughter Tami (Marc) Steadman of Phoenix; grandsons Derek (Leigh-Ann) Jackson, Alex (Ashley) Jackson and Chance Jackson of Colorado, Dillon (Sarah) Steadman, and Miles (Kalyn) Steadman of Arizona, and granddaughter Chloe Steadman of New York; sister Iris Ray of Tekamah, sister-in-law Betty Megrue of Blair, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Korshoj) Jackson, son Kim Jackson, and daughter-in-law Sondra (Michaud) Jackson.

Leonard was well-known, respected and loved in Fremont and the surrounding communities for decades.

A Celebration of Life will be 10 A.M., Friday, October 10, 2025 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, Nebraska. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Moser's.

Burial with military honors will take place at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
