William F. Henrichsen, 87, died at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Friday, February 8, 2002.
He was born June 9, 1914 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska to William M. and Jessie (Jipp) Hendrichsen.
He was married July 3, 1938 to Mabel Smock in Plattsmouth, and to Mildred Sprague on August 1980 in Berlin, Wisconsin.
He owned a tavern, restaurant and bowling alley in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was connected with the Presbyterian Church. He was formerly from Council Bluffs, Iowa.
He is survived by his family: Elva Jean and Mike Algya, Staplehurst, Nebraska, Kenneth and Karen Price, Washington, Kansas, Pat and John Singletary, Georgetown, South Carolina, Herman and Virginia Scholl, Plattsmouth, William Smock, Plattsmouth, Karen Gunnels, Plattsmouth, Tim and Connie Schulte, Overland Park, Kansas, Tracey Smock, Sioux City, Nebraska; sisters-in-law: Jeanette Smock, Staplehurst, Nebraska and Helen Smock, Sioux City, Nebraska; Ernest Jipp, California, George Jipp, Blair, Nebraska, Clara Ohrt, Fort Calhoun, Nebraska; numerous great-nieces and nephews; good friends: Marvin and Judy Gubbels, Council Bluffs, Iowa and daughter, Mary Jane; and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his wives.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 11am at Belford-O'Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with the Reverend Lowell Knauss officiating.
Pallbearers were William Gubbels, Troy Gubbels, Herman Scholl, William Smock, Kenneth Price, Delbert Smock and Mike Algya.
He was buried at Fort Calhoun Cemetery in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.
