Randolph—Funeral services for Thomas Joseph Craven, 82, of Sholes, Nebraska, who died Thursday, were conducted Saturday morning at St. Frances Church by Rev. Otto Buehler.
Burial was to be at St. Michael Cemetery at Blair, Nebraska.
Mr. Craven was born November 16, 1878 at Blair, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Craven. He was twice married, the first at Blair in 1907 to Ernestine Poutal, who preceded him in death. He was married June 6, 1924 at Plainview, Nebraska to Rachel Stockman.
He lived in Washington County until 1919. He moved to Pierce County, his home, and in 1930 to Randolph. He retired in 1947 from farming, and moved to Sholes, Nebraska.
He is survived by his widow, four sons, Ray of Randolph; Clare, Charles and Tom of Omaha, Nebraska, two daughters, Mrs. L. Thoene and Mrs. Ted Sheehy of Omaha, and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Ed Rham of Hornick, Iowa, Mrs. Ted Aderill of Wisner, Nebraska and Mrs. Robert Pendergast of Plainview, Nebraska.
