Keith Calvin Christiansen

On October 20th, 2025, Keith Calvin Christiansen, age 72, joined his Savior, Jesus Christ, and other family and friends in heaven.

Keith was born in Audubon, Iowa, on February 22, 1953, to Alice and K.V. “Whitey” Christiansen. He attended school in Audubon and, for a short time, in Estherville, Iowa. He graduated from Audubon High School in May of 1971. He attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med in May of 1975. He then attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in May of 1979.

Keith married Rosalee Moreland on August 17, 1974, and together they had three children, Jay, Marie, and Luke.

He served the community of Blair, Neb., for 40 years as a family dentist at Heartland Family Dentistry.

Keith enjoyed serving in his church, Christ Lutheran Church, in Blair. He was dedicated to Discipleship Study, teaching his adult Sunday School class, taking care of many maintenance issues, helping with the finances of the church, participating in corporate prayer and working in the sound booth.

Keith also greatly enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship as well as the game of golf and made many friends through both of these pursuits.

Keith is survived by his wife, Rosalee; son, Jay; daughter, Marie Mock and family (husband Bryant, and children Kaylor and Elaina) and daughter-in-law, Heather Currie and family (husband Jason, children Kate and Alex, and step-children Isaiah, Summer, and Zane). He is also survived by his brother, Ken (wife Dianne) and numerous extended family members and friends.

Preceding Keith in death were his parents, K.V. and Alice, sister Jeanette Gerrietts, and son, Luke.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, October 24th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Blair. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 25th, at 10:30 am at Christ Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon, Iowa, at 3:00 PM. Memorials can be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, Blair, Bible Study Fellowship or Greater Omaha Youth for Christ.
