Mrs. Ella Honsaker, Chicago, who died this week, will be buried at Fort Calhoun Friday after services at the Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun at 2pm. She was the widow of a former Fort Calhoun minister, and lived there about 40 years ago.

Mrs. D.S. Honsaker

Ella Walton Honsaker was born in Woodhull, Illinois on May 25, 1868 and died in Chicago on July 15.

She was married to David S. Honsaker, who was a student minister from the Omaha Theological Seminary who served the Fort Calhoun church. At the time she was teaching a class of girls in the Sunday School. Always a devoted wife, she served by her husband's side until her health failed eight years ago. Dr. Honsaker preceded her in death four years ago. Since that time, Mrs. Honsaker has made her home in Chicago with her daughter, Mrs. W.L. Johnson. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two grandchildren, William and Janet, a sister, Mrs. J.W. Trisler of Fort Calhoun, and a brother, Harry Walton of Long Pine, Nebraska.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Thomas Sandlin, were held at Sievers Funeral Home Friday afternoon, and burial made in the Fort Calhoun cemetery.
