Matthew Steven Dryden, age 39 of Blair, passed away Sunday November 9, 2025, at CHI Mercy in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery.
Matthew was born on May 12, 1986, in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Billy Dryden Jr. and Ronda Dryden. In his early years Matthew enjoyed spending time at several different camps in the summertime. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and also the Special Olympics, which he stayed active in throughout his lifetime. He especially enjoyed bowling. He truly loved fishing and camping with his family. Matthew enjoyed working the day program at DUET and working a few hours a day as a dedicated employee of OPPD.
For the last several years Matthew lived in a group home in Blair. He will always be remembered for blessing others with a smile and his love for Diet Pepsi.
Matthew is survived by his mother Ronda Adams of Blair, brother Aaron Dryden of Blair, sister Jessica (Michael) Shlee of Bellevue, NE, niece and nephews; Dayton, Sawyer, Tinley, uncle Mark Adams and his family, along with extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Dryden Jr., grandparents; Charley and Shirley Adams, Billy Dryden Sr. and Shirley McMannis.
