"Ott" Jansen Dies; Once Operated Threshing Rig

Adolph Jansen, 75, better known as "Ott" Jansen, long a resident of the south part of Washington County, died Friday morning at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Long ill, he had been hospitalized only four days.

Mr. Jansen once operated a threshing machine rig from farm to farm in the old days. Unmarried, he had made his home with a sister, Mrs. Anna Petersen, on Route 2, Florence, Nebraska.

Left besides Mrs. Petersen are three other sisters, Mrs. Elda Heise and Mrs. Emma Heise, both of Florence, and Mrs. Pauline Grabbe of Blair.

There are 25 nephews and nieces.

The body was taken to Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
