George C. Wulf was born in 1880, the oldest child of Claus and Dorothy Wulf. In June 1905 he married Elise "Lizzie" Rahlfs. A year later they had their first child, but the baby lived only a day. The infant was buried at Colby-Morley cemetery.

Later, five other children were born to George and Lizzie. When they passed away, they were buried at Arlington Cemetery.
