Phyllis Sully stepped into heaven on November 29, 2025, at the age of 94. Visitation and graveside services at the Blair Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Phyllis was born on November 15, 1931, to Roy and Goldie (Svendgard) Follen in Blair, Nebraska. She graduated from Blair High School in 1949 and married Leo Sully in 1950. The couple had five children in their 15 years together.

Phyllis worked at Western Electric for 22 years before retiring to Las Vegas, Nevada. She was an active member of the Methodist Church and a charter member in Tours of Distinction and Holland America. Traveling the world for the next 22 years, she enjoyed experiencing the many nationalities and their customs. She learned that it is indeed a small and wonderful world.

After 30 years, and as her sight diminished, it was time to return home to Blair to be near old friends and family.

Phyllis was preceded into heaven by her parents, daughter Bridget, and her sister Delores Osborne.

She leaves sons Kevin (Kathy) Sully of Zachary, LA, and Rick Sully of VanWert, OH; daughters Cheryl (Bill) Vahle of Xenia, OH, and Pam Christensen (Keith M.) of Blair, as well as the numerous blessings of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
