Rebecca Sue Bartley was born to Kenneth and Mary Ellen (Johnson) Jones on February 1, 1958, in Fremont, Nebraska. She passed away September 12, 2025, at home peacefully with immediate family after a short battle with cancer.
Becky graduated from Arlington High School in 1976. On July 6, 1991, she married Thomas Bartley in Omaha, Nebraska. They lived most of their lives in Oakland, Nebraska. In addition to working at OPPD and various jobs throughout the community of Oakland, she spent much of her time in the home raising her family.
Becky attended the Evangelical Free Church of Oakland. She was an avid crafter, sewer, and quilter. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, grandkids, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Ellen; brother, Marlon Jones; infant sister, Patricia Jones; and daughter, Casey Beltz.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Bartley; sons, Cole (Kristin) of Virginia and Chase (Emilie) Beltz of Omaha; step-daughter, Kim Petersen (Jared) of Kearney; step-son, Kevin (Dionne) Bartley of Omaha; sisters, Peggy Tonjum and Robin Millie; sister-in-law, Susan Jones; grandchildren: Ella Bartley, Piper Richter, Shane Beltz, Arlo Beltz, Kain and Kael Bartely, and Garrison Woods.
Memorial Visitation 9:30-10:30am Thursday, September 18, 2025 Evangelical Free Church 821 Fulton Avenue Oakland, NE 68045
followed at 10:30 by Memorial Service at the church.
