Services for Harvey Stevenson were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 26, at the Kale Funeral Home in Truro. He was the son of Harvey F. and Ruby Hulda Hineline Stevenson.

He was born April 15, 1939, in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, and died October 22, 1981, in Tucson, Arizona, of a massive coronary. He married Carol Hoeness & to this union was born one son, Allen. He lived in Omaha, Nebraska, later moving to Iowa with his parents. He received his education in the Madison County school system. He was employed by the Sutherland Lumber Company of Des Moines, Iowa, and was transferred to the Tucson, Arizona, charge by the company.

Preceding him in death was his father.

He is survived by his wife Carol and son Allen, his mother, Ruby Stevenson, and one brother, James.

Services were in charge of the Kale Funeral Home in Truro, Madison County, Iowa. Officiating was the Rev. George Campbell of Truro, Iowa. Organist was Daisy Barnes. Casket bearers were Dan Hoeness, Jerry Minnick, Boyd Kale, Dale Atkinson, Jim Doeman and Eldon Schultz. Interment was in Ebeneezer Cemetery Southeast of Peru, Iowa. Arrangements were by the Kale Funeral Home of Truro, Iowa.
