It is with a heavy heart and a great sorrow that our beloved mother Nancy passed away on January 22, 2026, in her home in Bellevue, Nebraska. She died peacefully at 86 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas M. Coleman Jr. and her grandson HT1 Kiefer James, of whom she was so very proud. Kiefer had so many accomplishments in a short amount of time.
She left behind two children, Carmela, Catherine Coleman-Audet (Mark). Mark helped spoil Nancy every chance he got. Thomas M Coleman III, her son, was by her side as he always has been with his wife (Earleen). Nancy was so happy Thomas retired from his Navy service to be close to her in Bellevue. Grandchildren Joseph, Jacob and Jessica Coleman; foster grandsons Isaiah and Micah Heyen; step-granddaughter Samantha Hadfield (Kyle), and their children Dalton, Grayson and Nolan and the late Isabella. She was looking forward to meeting their new addition, Olivia.
She was so happy to have had the last year and a half being able to spend every day with her great-granddaughters Marceline (Mar,Mar) and Lyra (Blu), with the girls’ half-brother Junence. She has missed them a lot these past months. She also leaves behind many special cousins, including Dolly, and many amazing friends, June, Rose, Arlene, Millie, Geri, Elsie and Pearl, as well as her chosen family, the Mannings.
She is now having afternoon coffee/tea with Anita, Dora, Lillian and her sister-in-law Ginger Coleman.
In leu of flowers make donations to Stop Soldier Suicide.
Celebration of life at a later date ( better weather).
