Ruby Hulda Hineline Stevenson, daughter of James & Martha Green Hineline, was born July 30, 1914, at Blair, Washington County, Nebraska, and departed this life November 21, 1993, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset, Madison County, Iowa, at age 79.

She attended school in Nebraska & was united in marriage to Harvey Fred Stevenson on January 7, 1937, at Little Rock, Arkansas, and to this union was born two sons, Harvey and James.

Ruby was employed by Consolidated Data Services, Des Moines, Iowa, for many years. She retired in 1979.

She liked to travel and to sew, and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren; Allen, Crystal and Kelly Stevenson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey, her son Harvey and a brother Lawrence Hineline.

She is survived by her son, James Stevenson and wife Vicki of Truro, Iowa; three grandchildren, Allen, Crystal and Kelly Stevenson; two brothers, Leo Hineline, Grand Island, Nebraska, and Roger Hineline of Riverside, California; four sisters, Vesta Hineline of Grand Island, Nebraska, Mary Davis of Atlantic, Iowa, Norma Hatcher of Hindsville, Arkansas, and Mrs. Althea Schad of Mount Ayr, Iowa, as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

Services were held at the Kale Funeral Home at Truro, Iowa with the Rev. Richard Harbart of Truro officiating. Organist was Pennie Gonseth. Casket bearers were; Larry McKeever, Gene Stevenson, Bob Davis, Larry Schad, Gary Schad and Russell Iiams. Interment was in Ebeneezer Cemetery southeast of Peru, Iowa.
