Sharon Allen, age 89 of Blair, passed away February 25, 2026. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery south of Blair. Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Sharon Hermine Furstenau Allen was born March 1, 1936, to Herman and Cecelia Furstenau. She married Joe Allen in 1955. Together they had seven children.

While raising her seven children, she went to school to be an LPN. She worked as a nurse until she was 80. People said she was an excellent nurse. She also had a great work ethic. In her later years, Sharon enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren as well.

Sharon loved her outdoor cats and her house bird, Max. She spent her evenings visiting with her friend, Carol.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, son-in-law, grandson-in-law, grandson and great-grandson.

Sharon is survived by her brother David, seven children, 21 grandchildren, 31-great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon loved Jesus and is with him in heaven.
