Althea Ramona (Mona) Schad, daughter of James Franklin Hineline and Martha Green Hineline, was born January 30, 1922, at Florence, Nebraska. After graduating from high school, Mona married Earle N. Schad on December 2, 1948, in Creston, Iowa. Mona was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Earle Schad, of Mount Ayr; sons Larry D. (Joyce) Schad of Creston, Iowa, and Gary R. (Carol Lee) Schad of Kansas City; 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mona was cremated and services with burial at a later date in the Oakland Cemetery at Shannon City, Iowa.
