Betty J. Vogt, 88 of Kennard, entered in the arms of her loving Savior on April 7, 2026, in Fremont, Nebraska. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00AM at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard, Nebraska. Graveside services will follow in the Kennard Cemetery. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the graveside services at the Kennard Auditorium. Visitation will be held at the church Friday April 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00PM.

Betty was born March 7, 1938, in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Lawrence and Marie (Rosenbaum) Pettit. She was raised outside of Blair and attended and graduated from Kennard High School in 1955.

After meeting Glen Vogt at the Midway Cafe, the couple were later married on October 20, 1956, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. The family made their home east of Arlington where they raised their children. Betty worked at the FSA office before her career at D.L. Blair. She and Glen were longtime members of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard and also members of a Card Club that ran for overs 60 years. Betty enjoyed reading, gardening, raising flowers, raising chickens and selling eggs. She avidly followed her children's and grandchildren's activities throughout the years, she rarely missed a game.

Betty leaves her husband of 69 years, Glen, children; Billy (Traci) Vogt, Susan (Randy) Dunklau and Rob (Penny) Vogt, grandchildren; Cory (Liz) Dunklau, Stacy (Matt) Nelson, Kevin Dunklau (fiancée Rachel Ruskamp), Matt (Jen) Ostrand, Jake Vogt, Brooke (Clint) Belina, Rachel Vogt (fiancé John Bray) and Blaine Vogt, greatgrandchildren; Piper, Ryker, Emme, Edwin, Alaina, Jase, Brody, Cadence, Camryn and Bowen along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Alice Vogt, brother Jim (Sylvia) Pettit and brother-in-law Leland (Marsha) Vogt. Memorials may be directed to the family for later distribution to local charities. Services by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, NE
