Mrs. Martha Joy, 85, of 1107 North Forty-ninth street, Omaha, Nebraska, died Saturday.
The widow of C.W. Joy, she came to Omaha in 1886.
She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Frank Brown and son, Waldo, both of Omaha; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Brief service at Harry E. Swanson funeral chapel 1pm Tuesday. Services and burial at Blair.

Mrs. Martha Joy, 85, onetime Washington countian and an aunt of the late Clark O’Hanlon of Blair, died Saturday in Omaha. She was the widow of C.W. Joy, who died in 1920.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30pm at First Baptist Church here, with interment following in Blair cemetery.
Mrs. Joy, as Martha Kline, once resided on a farm between Blair and Herman. She and Mr. Joy moved to Omaha in 1886.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Frank Brown, and a son, Waldo, both of Omaha. There are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
