Ted R Warfield "Pappy" "TRW" 83, passed away peacefully on Friday the 13th of March at Carter Place in Blair Nebraska.

He was born in Laramie Wyoming on November 11, 1942, to parents Robert "Pappy" L. and Helen Pearl Warfield. He graduated from Laramie High School in 1961.

He also attended the University of Wyoming receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and later a Master of Science degree in Agronomy/Biochemistry.

He did one tour in Vietnam. Where he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

He worked for FMC Corporation for 25 plus years.

He was married twice. His first marriage to Lynn Williams and second marriage to Pat Warfield (McNeece).

Proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Warfield (Carpenter), brothers Donald Warfield and Bill Warfield, sister Mary Lou Murray, wife Pat and stepson Gary Pinter.

He leaves his sister Ruthanne Humphrey of Phoenix, Arizona and husband Larry DeVries of Glidden, Iowa; sons Jim of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Jason and wife Jessica of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska; stepchildren Trisha and husband Todd Flatt of Kilmichael, Mississippi, Rusty Pinter of Pearl, Mississippi; grandchildren Kyla, Emily, Thomas, Sarah Grace, Lynsey, Caitlin, Clare, and Hannah.

He loved the outdoors, Waterskiing, Snow skiing, Hunting, fishing, Golfing, Spending time on the AX Ranch. He had a hole in one that he was very proud of. Many hours were spent playing cards, Cribbage and Pinochle.

A celebration of life will be held at VFW Post 2503, 8904 Military Rd, Omaha, Ne 68134 April 18 from 2-6pm. A prayer service will be at 2:30 with the Honor Guard to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2221, 2142 E Garfield St, Laramie, WY 82070, Wounded Warriors, American Legion, University of Wyoming College of Agriculture.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place with Neptune Cremation Service Omaha, Nebraska
