Lucinda “Lucy” Lauritsen

Lucy was born November 9, 1957, in Blair, Nebraska, the daughter of Herman and Jacqueline (Dudgeon) Lauritsen. She attended Blair High School and then attended and graduated from Capital Beauty School in Omaha, Nebraska along with a certificate in computer programming at Metropolitan Technical Community College.

Lucy enjoyed bowling, mushroom hunting, tending to her flower garden, shooting pool, boating and traveling to The Lake of The Ozarks. She worked for GameCo, and as a telemarketing supervisor. Over the years she also helped with the family beekeeping business.

Lucinda "Lucy" Lauritsen, 68, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away on the 14th of May, 2026. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, the 19th of May, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair, Nebraska.

The funeral service will follow the next day, Wednesday, the 20th of May, 2026 at 2:00pm at Campbell Aman.

Graveside services will be held at the Blair Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow the graveside service at VFW Post# 1251. 393 River Road, Blair, Nebraska.

She leaves her brother Brian Lauritsen of Munden, Kansas, brother Jeff (Linda) Lauritsen of Kennard, Nebraska, and sister Amy Lauritsen (Greg McIntosh), nieces; Amanda, Abby and Jessica and nephews; Cody (Brie) Gorsett, Levi (Emma) Gorsett and Wyatt Jurek, great-nieces and nephews Brooks, Livvy and Bennett, along with extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, fiancé Pat Duffey, and sisters in law Sue Lauritsen and Pam Lauritsen. Services by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, NE.
