(photo) David E. Rasmussen, 82 of Blair, passed away May 31, 2026. Services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, with a time of visitation beginning at 12:30 and services at 2 PM at First Lutheran Church, with a cookie and coffee reception to follow.

David was born March 18, 1944, the son of Dr. Elmer Rasmussen and Myrtle Lee Rasmussen. He graduated from Blair High School in 1962. In August of 1963, David joined the Air Force and became a Pharmacy Tech.

On April 25, 1964, David married Emily Behrens. After 20 years in the Air Force, they moved back to Blair.

David is survived by his wife Emily, daughter Erin (Kenneth) Barber; grandchildren Dayna and Kyle; brothers Richard (Sue) Rasmussen and Gary (Linda) Rasmussen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Phyllis.
