Janice was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her love for her family was the foundation of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Vera Wittstruck.

Janice leaves her brother, Jim Wittstruck; her sons, Scott Fitzler and his wife Stephanie, and Rick Fitzler and his wife Mickey; her daughter, Nicole Hilgenkamp and her husband Chris; and her grandchildren, Brittany, Ethan, Liam, Maura, Madison, Lexi, Kennedy, CJ, Parker, and Paisley.

Those who knew Janice will remember her for the love she gave, the strength she showed, and the special place she held in the lives of her family. She was proud of her children and grandchildren, and she treasured the moments spent with them. There will be no formal services. A private family visitation will be held at the funeral home. Janice will be laid to rest beside her parents in Ethan, South Dakota. Janice will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
