Phyllis Elaine Christianson, 96 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away Sunday, June 21,2026 at Brookestone Meadows in Omaha.
She was born June 29, 1929 in Audubon, Iowa to Rasmus Walter and Bernice Mae (Pritchard) Jensen.
Phyllis grew up at rural Audubon, IA and was a 1949 Gray High School Graduate.
She married DeLane D. Christianson February 18, 1950 in Washington, D.C. They lived in San Francisco, CA while DeLane attended college. With his career with the FBI, that led them to live in various cities in the US. They came to Omaha in 1965.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Omaha and the Assistance League of Omaha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, DeLane in 2022; son, Kenneth Christiansen; brother, Richard Jensen; sister, Geraldine Andersen; sons-in-law, Mike Minarik and Roy King and great grandsons, Corbin King and A.J. Wiblishouser.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Laurie Minarik and Janet King; sons, Jerry (Mary) Christianson and Thomas (Kris) Christianson; daughter-in-law, Kris Christianson; sister-in-law, Lois Jensen; sister, Linda (Jeffrey) Jacobsen; 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will start at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the All Saints Episcopal Church 93rd & Blondo in Omaha, NE, with the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 12:00 P.M.
Interment will be at the Kennard Cemetery, Kennard, Nebraska.
