Venetia Schneider (Ellerman)

December 2, 1935 - July 1, 2026

Venetia L. Schneider, 90, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at her home.

Venetia was born December 2, 1935, in West Point, Nebraska, to Leonard and Laura (Quandt) Ellerman. She grew up on a farm near Snyder, Nebraska. She married Arlen Schneider on April 24, 1976, in Kennard, Nebraska. They resided in Kennard before moving to Fremont in 2006.

Venetia worked at Campbells Soup in Fremont, DL Blair in Blair, NE, and retired from Home Instead in 2003. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Venetia was active at the Fremont Friendship Center, and she enjoyed Bingo and playing cards.

She leaves her husband, Arlen of Fremont; sons, Wayne (Lori) Kumm of Fremont and Elton (Penny) Kumm of Dodge, Nebraska; stepsons, Scott (Laura) Schneider of Omaha, Nebraska and Randy (Paula) Schneider of Arlington, Nebraska; daughters, Denise (Bill) Wehner of North Bend, Nebraska and Beverly Parsons of Fremont; stepdaughters, Kim (Mark) Reimers and Cindy (Tom) Koziol both of Bennington, Nebraska and Tammie (Steve) French of Arlington; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Venetia was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Delray, Gene, Leonard, and Marlin Ellerman.

The memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Burial will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
