Memorial services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Sattler Funeral Home for Mrs. Emilie Louise Iverson, whose passing on Tuesday had brought such a sense of regret to the family and host of friends.
Rev. Keith Delap, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. Iverson was a long time member, conducted the services.
Mrs. Hugh Stander, Jr., was soloist with Mrs. George Jacobs at the organ.
Casket bearers were old family friends, John Speck, Dean Snyder, Milton Muncie, Raymond Fuller, Joseph M. Hiber and Thomas J. Walling.
Mourning her passing are three daughters and three sons: Mrs. Margaret Steiner, Chicago; Mrs. Helen Thimgan, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Mrs. Hazel Thimgam, Louisville, Nebraska; John of Washington, D.C., Paul of Keyser, West Virginia; R.F. of Plattsmouth; one sister, Mrs. Herbert T. Ring, Hooper, Nebraska; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
All were present for the services of their mother, with the exception of Mrs. Stainer, who was prevented from attending due to illness.
Interment was at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
