| Word was received at about 10 o'clock this evening of the death of Turner Stricklett at the University Hospital in Omaha, where he went Monday for treatment and possible an operation for what was thought to be a tumor in the stomach. No operation was performed, but his heart gave way and death resulted. No time has been set for the funeral yet.
He was almost 54 years of age, having been born in Louis County, Kentucky, May 30th, 1871.
He is survived by two sons, Marion and Floyd, one sister, Miss Cora Stricklett and three brothers, Louis, Edward and Orin, all of this city.
The Pilot extends heartfelt sympathy to the family.
