CHARLES PEAK DIES APRIL 30th

Charles Peak, a native of this county, passed away Wednesday at 12:30pm at the Blair hospital. He had been a patient sufferer since 1933 when he suffered a paralytic stroke.

At that time he was in the employ of the electric light department of Blair, which position he had held for a number of years. His wife died in 1937, and for some time he had made his home with his brother, Roy Peak, who lives on a farm near Blair.

He was born November 18, 1882, and was thus past fifty-eight years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank Godfrey, of Hyannis, Nebraska, and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Viele of Omaha and Mrs. Leo Grabe of Fremont, and one brother, Roy Peak, of Blair.

Funeral services will be held from the Bendorf Funeral Home on Friday afternoon with Rev. Brooks officiating and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
