Donna Jean Foley of Olathe, KS (and Blair, Nebraska) passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026.

Donna's first job was at a drive-in restaurant in Blair, Nebraska where she was a car-hop. This is where she met her husband of 61 years, Gerald Foley. Donna attended one year of nursing school before marriage. Donna and Gerald ran their own business, Foley Oil Company. Donna was a devoted Catholic and served on many committees in her hometown church, St. Francis Borgia in Blair, NE. Later in life Donna worked as a Medical Office Manager at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

After retirement Donna and Gerald moved to Olathe, Kansas to be near their children. Donna has been a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Olathe since her move to the Kansas City area.

Donna loved reading, gardening, walks, and especially her time with family. She treasured her independence and lived on her own until the very end of her life. Donna was a friend and mentor to many who knew her and she always had room in her heart for family or friends in need.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Mabel Conrad, and her husband, Gerald Foley. Donna leaves her children Sherry Foley, Patrick Foley, Jan and husband Tom Duffy, Suzy and husband Bill Hasenkamp, and her grandchildren, Michayla and Micah Goedeken.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on July 25, 2026, at 9a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Villa St. Francis Catholic Community (Olathe, KS
