Jeffrey J. Anderson 66 of Blair, Nebraska formerly Ames, NE passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. He was born April 4, 1960 in Blair, NE to Richard and Peggy (Taylor) Anderson.

Jeff lived in Blair until coming to Fremont at the age of 14. He served in the US Army and then worked in the construction field for many years. He worked for Leighton Construction in Omaha.

Jeff loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Fremont Anglers Association.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Peggy Anderson of Blair; daughter, Chelsea (Luke) Kardell of Ames, NE; brother, Jay Anderson of Blair; two grandchildren, Wade and Lane; nieces, Adeline and Josie; and family friends, Kathy Larson and Randy Reed. Preceded in death by his father and sister, Chantell Simonson.

Funeral will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Pastor Jim Erwin of First Baptist Church in Blair will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM Wednesday prior to the service at Moser’s.

Burial with Military Honors will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials will be forwarded to a local wildlife or hunter education program or to First Baptist Church in Blair.
