Stricklett Rites Held

The Rev. Frank Stricklett, 52, one-time Blairite, Friday at Charles City, Iowa, following a heart attack. The body was brought to Blair for services at the Christian Church Tuesday afternoon and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

The Rev. Mr. Stricklett, son of William Louis and Elsie Allen Stricklett, was born on a farm south of Blair November 4, 1899. For several years the family lived on the Indian reservation near Walthill. He and Della Ireland were married December 8, 1919. To them was born one son, Hillard, who was killed years ago in a truck accident.

Surviving the Rev. Mr. Stricklett, his wife, Della; mother, Mrs. Elsie Stricklett of Blair; a brother, Walter Stricklett of Blair; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Bellows of Grant, Mrs. Herman Ladwig and Mrs. John Gilliam both of Blair; also 22 nieces and nephews and 44 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Two brothers and a sister precede him in death.
