Roger Kevin Tranmer

Roger Kevin Tranmer was born to Harlan and Marlene (Modlin) Tranmer on March 7, 1960, in Oakland, Nebraska. He passed away on July 14, 2026, at home in Tekamah after a lingering illness.
The family moved to the Tranmer family farm in 1964, where Roger enjoyed farming and taking care of the farm animals. He received his grade school education at the 6-R School and attended high school in Tekamah.
Roger enjoyed making people laugh by telling jokes or breaking out in a little ditty. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Allen.
He leaves his sister, Wynelle of Tekamah; son, Drew; daughter, Kaj; grandkids, Bridgette, Breanna and Jak, from Sioux City, Iowa; nieces, April of Colorado, Heather and Amber; great-niece, Ryann; and great-nephews, Sterling and Jamison, all of Tekamah.
Memorial service will be held at a future date.
